January Girl Fun

It seems like its been a while since I have actually updated something. Yesterday the girls went to the doctor for their 18 month check up. Sophie weighs 19.7 and Chloe a whopping 19.8. They never weigh more than a couple of ounces different and are always the same height. This and other reasons lead the doctor to believe they actually are identical. Whether we investigate remains to be seen...

In other news I took the girls on their first trip to the Children's Museum with some twin friends. They had a blast. Especially the Barbie exhibit. I didn't realize toddlers loved her too. They played with the dolls, banged on the glass cases and brushed the hair of the big doll heads. We went to the toddler area where they played and drank the water out of the water table area. Needless to say that meant our exit, so we headed to the DinoSphere. I thought they would be afraid since the dinosaurs are so ugly and have big snarling teeth, but my little darlings loved them. And pointed to them shouting out indecipherable words. A worker came over with a big jawbone and they jumped at the chance to pick at its teeth. They weren't even afraid when the exhibits growled and hissed and the thunder and lightening came on. But take them to someone's house and they cry the second we walk in the door.....

The water table....where my kids like to drink...even when I have clean bottled water on hand..

This is quite impressive..Each letter is filled with Barbies!
